Field sampling operator
Christodoulos Christodoulou is an employee at AP Marine since 2020. He is participating in several projects – National and EU level – regarding fisheries, aquaculture and marine environment in general. He has experience in several sampling techniques such as on board and field samplings. Moreover, he has extensive experience in fisheries data collection in relation to the European Directive for the collection of fisheries data 199/2008 and the implementation of the “International Mediterranean Bottom Trawl Sampling (MEDITS)” program. His duties include biological data collection, laboratory processing of fish samples that includes the recording of biological parameters (length and weight), the determination of reproductive maturity and fish identification. He participates in field sampling activities related to the collection of benthic macrofauna samples on board and water collection. He also has good communication skills and experience in conducting qualitative research since he participated in several projects requiring fishermen interviews in person.
